Angela Sun
Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, as well as filmmaker of documentary films. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 in Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist, sportscaster and actress. Her education includes Sociology and Communication at the University of California. Sun had excellent surfing skills. She took part in various pro-am Surf competitions which helped her get sponsorships by brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. It was the fame she gained through the events she took part in that led her into the world of entertainment. Later, she went to become an actress sportscaster investigative journalist and film director. Sun has been employed by a variety of news channels mainly as anchor. In 2003, Sun became a Fox Sports Net reporter. Sun also hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. She was the sole Asian-American who has ever appeared as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun is an established actress who has appeared in several films. Sun was in films like Goliath (2016), Hit the Floor(2014-2016) The Perfect Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the effects of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
