Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actor, singer-songwriter and performer. Her main focus is Tamil and Malayalam movies. She made her acting debut in Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah was raised to a Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney working at the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister currently working and living in Leuven Belgium, as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah comes born in Chennai. She went to National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a young classical musician who was an avid geek. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her musical and singing career. In her college she was also a theater artist and performed in stage plays organized through The Madras Players. She was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. The role she played in 2006's brand new Leo Coffee advert included Shiva. She has also acted in a TV show which airs on Podhigai. She's performed all across India. She had a short character in the finale of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya the director asked her to join in the role of a lead female characters in his upcoming film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani in this film, which is a remake of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband is implicated in a relationship with her and she is subsequently blackmailed. Andrea was approached by Simran shobana and Tabu. It was released early in 2010. In 2011, she agreed to perform a tiny supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha that was released in August 2011, In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's romantic movie Annayum Rasoolum.
