Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actor, performer also a writer, director and actor. She is known best for her character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest child born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham, Alabama on 8 January 1977. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. Her father, Benson's was Jewish while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to the Reform community in Alabama. The career of Benson continues to grow following the ending of Buffy. She was in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series.
