Kari Samantha (born April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actress and performer. Wuhrer began her acting career as a teenager. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. The youngest of three children. In her teens She performed in nightclubs, sneaking out of the house to sing. When she began studying acting at Wooster School, at the age of 13, she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. She was born a Brookfield local born in Brookfield Connecticut in the 28th of April 1967. Her German-American father is a car dealer and police agent. Kari has three brothers and sisters. In her teens, she performed in nightclubs in secret, escaping to do so. Kari began studying acting when she was 13. She then studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College in addition to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and along with Uta Hagen who was a famous teacher. Kari was introduced to acting at the age of 13 and got her first big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
